What Should You Know If You Are Traveling with MAI Airlines Myanmar?

If you buy your plane ticket last minute, the closer you get to the departure date, the higher the price.
If you purchase your plane ticket at least a month in advance, you can get it at the regular price.
When traveling with MAI Airlines, you can carry up to 30 kg of luggage.
If you want to carry more than this, you can purchase additional kg online when you buy your ticket. There are also service counters at the airport where you can buy extra kg.
Arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your flight's departure time.
When you arrive at the airport, show your printed (or saved soft copy) ticket at the MAI Ticket Counter to get your boarding pass and check in your luggage at the same time.

Exception: If you are traveling to Japan via transit from Bangkok or Singapore, you will receive a connecting flight ticket all at once.

If you don't specify your preferred seat at the ticket counter, the staff will assign you a convenient seat.
If you want to sit by the window or near the aisle, inform them when you are getting your ticket to secure your preferred seat.
Those with glasses should not sit near the emergency exit.
Do not put laptops, tablets, or power banks in your checked luggage. If you do, the staff at the airport ticket counter will ask you to remove them. These items can only be carried in your hand luggage.
After checking in your luggage and getting your boarding pass, line up for immigration.
Fill out your departure card (instructions on how to fill it out are provided).
Keep your passport and boarding pass ready.
Hand your passport, boarding pass, and departure card to the immigration officer, complete the face scan and fingerprinting, and you will be cleared.
After passing immigration, you will go through a body check at the security screening area. You cannot carry water bottles; if you have one, you will need to leave it behind. If you wish, you can drink the water and keep the empty bottle to refill it after reaching the gate.
When the gate opens, Business Class passengers are called to board first.
Economy Class passengers are called from the back row numbers onward.
